The Chattery’s Great Adult Egg Hunt and Hoppy Hour - Saturday, 2:00pm
Sculpture Fields at Montague Park
This second annual event combines the arts, community collaboration, and of course, education. Through a creative partnership, local artists will create one-of-a-kind works of art on an evergreen wooden egg, and adult participants will search for the eggs at Sculpture Fields. We’ll conclude the event with a restaurant “hop” along Main Street to continue to build community and support local businesses. The Plug Poetry Project - Award-Winning Poet Julian Randall - Saturday, 10:00am

The goal of The Plug is to honor and grow the city’s poetry community by providing resources, classes, and events. On Saturday, April 20th award-winning poet Julian Randall is coming to the city for a FREE one-day workshop and featured reading. Local poet Olivia Bradley will be opening the night with a set of original material, as well. Who is Julian Randall? He is a performance poet, educator, and arts education advocate. A Chicago native, Randall has pursued a career in poetry since 2011 and has has received fellowships from Callaloo, BOAAT and the Watering Hole and was the 2015 National College Slam (CUPSI) Best Poet. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in publications such as New York Times Magazine, The Georgia Review, Sixth Finch, and in the anthologies Portrait in Blues, Nepantla, and New Poetry from the Midwest. His first book, Refuse, is the winner of the 2017 Cave Canem Poetry prize selected by Vievee Frances, and he was named a finalist for the NAACP Image Award in Poetry.
