Since 1999, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum has been carrying all the good boys and girls of Chattanooga and surrounding areas to the North Pole for a visit with Santa Claus. This year, TVRM is proud to announce that Jolly Old St. Nicholas has once again asked that we extend our services and take everybody back to the North Pole again!

Santa’s elves have been busy preparing the tracks and we hear that they’ll be routed through locations such as Santa’s Workshop! Storytellers are buying fresh copies of The Polar Express to read to everybody and elves are busy getting Yoo-Hoo chocolate drinks and cookies ready so that all the children will have something to eat and drink on the trip!

Santa has even arranged for our station to keep everyone warm and dry while waiting for the North Pole Limited to arrive, complete with a dining area for those with an appetite. (See our Depot Deli menu HERE)

Note: All activities take place on the train during your 75 minute trip. Passengers will not detrain at the North Pole, but Santa boards and greets the children as the train travels back to Grand Junction Station.

TICKET UPGRADE~ Ride in "Santa's Private Car" which provides an even higher level of service to a limited number of passengers. Riders in this extra-fare car will receive hot chocolate served in a keepsake tumbler, fresh-baked Christmas cookies, lower seating capacity, an extended visit with Santa, and personal service by our attendants. The rate for this service is $48 per person. Order well in advance as this accommodation is popular!
